NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Bluffton University volleyball team fell to 12-17 overall and 1-5 in the Heartland Conference following a 3-0 sweep at Manchester University on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Senior Jenna Woods (DeGraff/Riverside) and sophomore Madison Brentlinger (Indian Lake) sparked the offense with seven and six kills, respectively. Gabby Williams (West Liberty/West Liberty-Salem) dished out 14 assists, while Emma Organ (Lambertville, MI/St. Ursula Academy) scooped up a dozen digs.

Abby Lawhorn (Cable/Mechanicsburg) fired a pair of aces and Kasey Sager (Troy) stuffed the Spartans with three blocks.

Manchester pounded 28 more kills than the Beavers (48-20) while blistering it at a .311 clip.

Bluffton will spot up in the Sommer Center for a fourth straight Saturday on November 1. The Beavers are slated to welcome Transylvania for Senior Day at 2 p.m.
