ALMA, Mich. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Alma College on a hot Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025. Bluffton fell to 3-4 on the season after the Scots convincing victory.
The home team scored twice in the first half and the Scots tacked on two more tallies early in the second stanza en route to a 4-0 victory over the visiting Beavers.
Alma finished the match with a convincing 26-2 advantage in total shots, including 10-1 on frame. The home team controlled the action with 16 corner kicks, compared to just two for the Beavers. Bluffton was whistled for five more fouls (11-6) and Alma drew one offsides penalty.
Brysan Brewer (Middletown) and Naomi Diekman (Grandville, Mich./Jenison) put up one shot apiece with Diekman's on target. Freshman Madison Kutscher (Rossford) collected six saves.
Bluffton returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept, 24, when the Beavers host Olivet. The Faculty Appreciation contest is slated for 5 p.m. at the Sears Complex.
