BLUFFTON, Ohio - Maxwell Moore (Chagrin Falls) has been named the Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week. The senior helped the Beavers hold Anderson to 214 total yards as Bluffton improved to 4-1 on the season.

Moore was all over the field, piling up four tackles that included a pair of sacks, while also snagging his first interception of the season and taking it back 44 yards.

Bluffton is back home looking to add to its three-game winning streak when Bluffton hosts the Mount St. Joseph Lions on Saturday, Oct. 18, at Alumni Field, with a 1:30 p.m. kickoff.
