BLUFFTON, Ohio - Drew Michael (Eaton) has been named the Heartland Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. Michael helped power the Beavers to a 39-23 Homecoming victory over Manchester on Saturday. It marks the third HCAC Player of the Week for Blufton through the first four weeks of the season.

Michael tied Bluffton's school record with four field goals on Saturday, hitting from 23, 38, 39 and 41 yards while also connecting on three PAT's for a school record-tying 15 kicked points. Michael added four kickoffs for 188 yards as Bluffton moved to 3-1 on the season.

The Beavers will look to carry their momentum into next week's contest when they travel to Anderson University for the first conference road game of the season. Kickoff will be at 1:30 p.m.
