BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior Nolan Whobrey (Louisville, Ky./Meade County) has been named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Beavers to a 42-10 rout at Manchester on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Whobrey picked off two passes and had a scoop and score in Bluffton's 42-10 win at Manchester on Saturday. It helped the Beavers to a perfect 2-0 start in Heartland Conference play. The starting cornerback also broke up a pass and had a tackle.

Bluffton will be back on the road this Saturday, Oct. 19, when the Beavers travel to Cincinnati for a 1:30 p.m. matchup with HCAC heavyweight Mount St. Joseph.
