WOOSTER, Ohio - The Bluffton University volleyball team got back in the win column with a sweep at the College of Wooster on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024. Bluffton improved to 13-2 on the season, while Wooster slipped to 9-8 overall.

Junior Jenna Woods (DeGraff/Riverside) and senior Chloei Barnett (Wapakoneta) did the damage up front with 15 and 12 kills, respectively. Barnett hit .321 for the night. Junior Paige Massie (Alvada/Arcadia) went 7-1-13 for a red-hot .462 hitting clip. Sophomore Mallory Fluharty (Wooster/Triway) doled out 25 helpers in front of her hometown friends and family!

Abby Lawhorn (Cable/Mechanicsburg) scooped up 12 digs for the visitors, while Kasey Sager (Troy) stuffed the Scots with five blocks. Barnett and Saniyah Terry (Macomb, MI/L Anse Creuse HS North) chipped in with nine and eight pickups, respectively.

Bluffton is back in the Sommer Center for a 7:30 p.m. meeting with Trine University on Friday, Sept. 27. It will follow the junior varsity matchup which is slated for 6:30 p.m.
