Bluffton takes 4th at HCAC Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Bluffton University women's golf team wrapped up its 2024-25 campaign with a 4th place finish at the Heartland Conference Championships on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Weather shortened the tournament to 36 holes as Saturday's round was washed away with the pouring rain.

Senior Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) capped off her fabulous career with a 79, thanks to three birdies on Sunday. She shot a 163 for the weekend, placing 10th. Sophomore Hope Manning (South Charleston/Southeastern) went 86-85 for a 171 at the Kearney Hills Golf Links.

Sophomore Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) shaved eight strokes off her Friday score, firing an 84 for a 176. Coming in just one stroke behind her (177) was senior Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) who was five shots better on Sunday (91-86).

Continuing with the theme of low scoring on Sunday, sophomore Alyssa Begoon (New Madison/Tri-Village) carded an 89 after shooting a 96, adding up to a 185 in the season finale.
