BLUFFTON, Ohio - Madison Brown (Montpelier/North Central) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week after leading the Beavers to a pair of blowouts as Bluffton downed Kalamazoo, 66-35, on the road before smacking Kenyon, 91-61, in the Sommer Center on Friday night. She earned the first HCAC Player of the Week award for the Bluffton women since current assistant Morgan Smith was honored in January of 2023!

The 5-6 guard averaged 20.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. She hit 18-of-31 from the field (58.1 percent) while dishing out 3.5 assists per game and picking up 2.0 steals per game. In Bluffton's win on Friday, Brown led the way with a career-high 27 points on 11-for-20 shooting from the field.

Bluffton will head back to the state up north on Tuesday, Nov. 18, for its third MIAA matchup of the season as the Beavers take on Adrian College at 7 p.m.
