TIFFIN, Ohio - The Beavers took the short trip over to Tiffin for the Tiffelberg Open with competition, mostly of Division 2 and NAIA variety, on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025.
The women's team kicked off the night and were led by another big race from sophomore Sara Smith (Mansfield/Madison Comprehensive) who finished 8th overall with a time of 19:51 and was the first non-Division 2 runner to cross the line. Next across the line was sophomore Kamryn McDonald (Marion/Harding) who finished in 24:22.
The Men's team was up next and were led by senior Jarrod Roudebush (Coshocton) who crossed the line in 17:44. Up next was sophomore Kaden McWatters (Genoa/Genoa Area) who crossed the line with a time of 18:31. Up next was junior Micah Dodson (Wooster/Central Christian), who finished the race with a time of 19:40. Sophomore Jordan Croy (Ottawa/Ottawa-Glandorf) dropped massive time from a week ago crossing with a time of 20:37. Sophomore Malcolm Hudson (Villa Rica, GA/Villa Rica) rounded out the squad with a time of 21:07.
The Beavers will now take a week to focus and train and before getting back to action on Friday, Sept. 19, for their first full-distance race at Cedarville (All-Ohio).
