BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Cole Kropka (New London) has been named the Heartland Conference Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Kropka finished 15th in the men's 6k at the Beaver Dam Invite with a time of 20:09 on a sweltering Friday, Aug. 30. It was 19 seconds faster than his time a season ago on the same course.

The Beavers will return to action on Friday, Sept. 6, at the Indiana Wesleyan Twilight Meet in their first full distance race of the year.
