BLUFFTON, Ohio - Alex Brown (Delaware/Buckeye Valley) has named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer. 

Brown finished the week with two goals and an assist in Bluffton's 7-2 win over Great Lakes Christian on Wednesday afternoon. He capitalized just 39 seconds in and then hit paydirt for the second time in minute 31, scoring what turned out to be the game-winning goal as it put Bluffton up 3-1. The standout senior finished the week with 11 shots, including six on frame.

Bluffton heads to Angola, Ind., for a 5 p.m. matchup at Trine University on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
