BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton Beavers men's soccer squad played host to the Great Lakes Christian Crusaders in their first home contest of the season. Scoring would run rampant as the Beavers would score in the first minute and not be slowed down as they would cruise to a 7-2 win over the visiting Crusaders. The win moves them to a record of 1-1 on the season while Greak Lakes drops to 0-2-1 overall.

It would only take 39 seconds for the Beavers to get going as Alex Brown (Delaware, Ohio / Buckeye Valley) would fire a kick past the Greak Lakes goalie, giving them an early 1-0 lead. At the 13 minute mark, the Crusaders would even up the score 1-1 after taking advantage of a corner kick. The teams would stay even until William Clark (Mount Blanchard, Ohio) would hit a lazer on a free kick from deep behind the box that found the back of the net and putting Bluffton up 2-1 with just over 15 minutes left in the half. The momentum would continue a minute and a half later when Alex Brown would score for the second time of the half after getting a great pass from Jaden Ngufor (London, Ont. Canada). At the 36th minute mark, William Clark would take advantage of another free kick and strike another goal past the keeper, extending the Beavers lead to 4-1 going into the half. Coming out of the second half, Bluffton would get another goal on the board after an own goal from the Crusaders made it 5-1 ten minutes into the second half. Only a minute later, Jaden Ngufor snuck in a goal off a pass from Alex Brown that hit off the left post, extending Bluffton's lead to 6-1. Greak Lakes would add a goal in the 63rd minute, but Jaden Ngufor would score his second goal of the game as the Beavers would march on to a 7-2 win.

Three Bluffton players would score twice with Alex Brown, William Clark, and Jaden Ngufor all having great days on the pitch. All three would each have an assist as Roman Whorton (Brookville) and Leonardo Campos (Santiago, Chile / Campbellsville University) would both have an assist as well.
