BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team hosted the annual Beaver Fall Classic on a hot and humid Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025. The Beaver 'A' squad fired a 312, while the 'B' squad followed up with a 340.
On a day when highlights were abound, sophomore Aaron Gerber (Vermilion) paced the Beavers with a one-under par 71! He stands in 4th place out of a field of 48 golfers. Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) is just three stokes back (74) thanks to an eagle on the par 5 16th hole! Drake Sommer (Montpelier) made three of the scoring four under 80 with a 78 on Saturday.
Veterans Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) and Carson Brubaker (Shelby) lead the 'B' unit with scores of 78 and 80 respectively.
Bluffton will cap off the Homecoming week festivities on Sunday, Oct. 5, for day two of the Beaver Fall Classic, tipping off at 9 a.m.
