BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton Valorant squad queued up and faced off against the High Point White Valorant team in a match that was close in both games. Ultimately, the Panthers would come out with a 2-0 win over the Beavers, with Bluffton sitting at a record of 3-3 heading into the last week of the regular season.
Following a 8-4 effort from High Point in the first half of game 1, the Beavers would claw their way back and tie the game 11-11 as the two teams competed on the map Pearl. Despite the comeback, High Point would take back-to-back rounds to seal a game one victory, 13-11. Pacing Bluffton with 30 eliminations and a combat score of 338 was Keith Dailey (Moody, Texasa / Moody), while Sergio Muniz (Milwaukee, WI / Nathan Hales) was right on his tail with 28 kills and a score of 325.
The two teams would compete on the map Bind in game 2, and after the Beavers started out on the attackers side, the match would be tied up 6-6 at the half. Coming out of the break with an aggressive mentality, High Point would out and take the first four rounds of the second half, taking a 10-6 lead, and only three wins away from taking the match. After Bluffton managed to take back-to-back rounds, the Panthers would respond and take back-to-back rounds of their own as they held match point at 12-8. The Beavers were able to take two rounds to cut the deficit to two, but after High Point was able to plant the spike and eliminate all of Bluffton's players, they would come away with a 13-10 win and seal the match, 2-0. Leading the Beavers in game two was Keith Dailey, who tallied 22 kills, while Sergio Muniz added 18 kills of his own.
