BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University Valorant team would face off against the RIT Academy Tigers in their final match before spring break. RIT would jump ahead early in game one and not look back, and while the Beavers would make it close it game two, the Tigers would pull away at the end to hand Bluffton a 2-0 loss. The Beavers fall to 1-2 overall on the season, while RIT stays undefeated at 3-0.

The Tigers would play strong defense in the first half of game one, going up 9-3 and just four points away from going up 1-0. While Bluffton managed to win a round, the deficit would be too much as RIT would come away with a 13-4 win after one game. Keith Dailey (Moody, Texas / Moody) would lead the team with 13 kills, while Adam Chrisman (Celina, Ohio / Marion Local) would be right behind him with 12 eliminations. The Beavers found a rhythm in game two, picking up five round wins in the first half on the attack, trailing just 7-5 at the break of round two. Despite the narrow gap, the Tigers managed to outscore Bluffton 6-2 as they would come away with a 13-7 win in round two, sealing a 2-0 victory over the Beavers. Pacing the squad with a team high 17 eliminations was Sergio Muniz (Milwaukee, WI / Nathan Hales), while Adam Chrisman recorded a combat score of 254, tallying 16 kills in the match.

Bluffton will look ahead to their next contest following spring break as they get set to go up against Rowan University on Thursday, Mar. 12 at 7 p.m. You can catch all of Bluffton Esports action on Boxcast, Twitch, and YouTube.
